Many pieces are similar to the Fostoria Fairfax pattern except Fairfax has optic where as the Pioneer pattern does not. Also there are differences in the handles. This blank was used for many of Fostoria's etchings and cuttings. The pattern consists of ashtrays, bowls, butter dish, celery, compotes, creamers and sugars, cups and saucer, pickle dish, plates, platters and a relish plus several other pieces.
