beautiful Chokin Peacock plate by the Dynasty Gallery. The ancient Art of Chokin has been handed down through generations of artists for more than 700 years. Created by engraving on copper and gilding it with silver and gold. This handcraft was first discovered on the armament of the 2th century Samurai warriors. It measures approximately 6 1/2" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and shows very little if any signs of wear. It is signed on the front in Japanese.
